Sheet links, spec navigation and markup grouping0.19.0

Layr can now find the section and detail callouts on a drawing and turn them into links to the sheets they name. The spec pane gets its own navigation and bookmarks. Markups can be stacked, grouped and copied the way Bluebeam and PowerPoint users expect.

Click a callout to open its sheet

Choose Detect sheet links from the project menu. Layr reads each drawing for section, detail and view-title callouts and links each one to the sheet it names. Hover a link to preview that sheet; click to open it. If the project has a symbol or legend sheet, Layr reads it first and uses it to read the callouts. Import is unchanged: detection is a separate run you start by hand.

Find your way around a spec book

The spec pane has its own header: division and section menus, a page box and a search field (Ctrl+G). A strip down the right edge shows the whole book, one key per page, with a card for each page and its markups on hover. Switch between continuous and single-page view with Shift+S. Pop the spec out into its own window.

Bookmark spec pages

Click the ribbon in the spec header, or press Ctrl/⌘+D, to bookmark a page. Bookmarks show in the Outline under their section and can be renamed. They belong to you, not to the project.

Stack and group markups

Right-click a markup for its own menu. Order brings it forward or sends it back (Ctrl/⌘+] and [). Group, Ungroup and Regroup work as in PowerPoint (Ctrl/⌘+G), including groups inside groups: click once to pick a group, again to reach inside it. Attach callout adds a callout glued to a shape. Ctrl/⌘+A selects every markup in the active pane.

Ctrl-drag to copy

Hold Ctrl (⌘ on a Mac) and drag a selection to copy it, as in Bluebeam. The copy can land on the drawing or on a spec page. One undo removes it.

Cloud+ stays whole

A Cloud+ now acts as one markup everywhere: erase, delete, hide, copy, paste and drag. Its text box gets its own fill pattern, separate from the cloud.

Fixes worth naming

Clearing the text in a callout no longer deletes it. That used to break a Cloud+ in two.
Shift-click can add and remove nodes on a Cloud+ again after you reselect it.
The style bar now spans the drawing and a docked spec, so it no longer wraps into a stack when the drawing pane is narrow.
Annotations start collapsed in the sheet outline, so a busy sheet no longer floods the sidebar.

Upgrade notes

Migration 101_sheet_reference_enrichment.sql adds the project_reference_runs table and the publish_sheet_references function, which replaces a page's detected links in one transaction. Migration 102_reference_symbol_guide.sql records the symbol sheet each run used. The production deploy applies both; no manual database step is needed.
Sheet links do not appear on their own. Existing projects get them only after someone runs Detect sheet links. Rerunning replaces the links it made earlier. It costs roughly $0.013 a page in model calls.
Starting a run needs write access to the project. Reading links, spec marks and bookmarks needs read access. The new routes are registered in the route ACL.
Pages saved with the old flat markup bundles convert on load: a cloud-and-callout bundle becomes a Cloud+, and any other bundle becomes a group. PDF export and import carry the new grouping and still read the old field.
Spec bookmarks are stored in each user's preferences, one list per project, capped at 200.

Known limits

Sheet links cover section, detail and view-title callouts. Free-text "SEE SHEET" notes and references into the spec book are not linked yet. The hover preview shows the whole target sheet, not the detail.
A selection that spans the drawing and a spec page can't be grouped or reordered. Ctrl-drag copies only the markups in the pane you press in.
Escape clears the whole selection rather than stepping out one group level.
Reordering done in Bluebeam isn't picked up when you reimport the PDF.
A spec page outside every section can be bookmarked but won't show in the Outline.
The spec view choice and spine visibility are saved per browser, not per account.
While a style row is up, the spec header covers about the top 40px of the spec page.
