Lengths that keep the fraction0.24.0

A feet-and-inches length now reads to the nearest 1/16" and groups thousands with commas, on the sheet and in an exported PDF. A new Polylength shows each leg. Which tools are on is decided in the repo, and production still has the same tools as 0.23.0.

Highlights

Lengths keep the fraction

Feet and inches used to round to the nearest whole inch, so a length could read up to half an inch off the drawing. They now keep the fraction to the nearest 1/16" (185'-5 15/16"). Large numbers group thousands with commas (1,283'-4", 211,165,344 sq mm). The same text is what an exported PDF writes. Typing a comma-grouped length, or one with a sixteenth, still parses. Stored values and data exports stay plain numbers.

A polylength shows its legs

A new Polylength shows each segment length. The total is something you turn on. A new markup shows only the value that defines it: the locked row in Measurements. An Area can caption its volume beside the area. Area, Volume and the Sketch tools stay off in production until they are marked released; Polylength is on.

A sketch shape stays a sketch

A Sketch Rectangle, Ellipse, Polygon or Polyline still commits an Area, Volume or Polylength, and it keeps the tool that drew it: the name, the icon and the side lengths, on the sheet and in the PDF. Export names it the way Revu names Sketch to Scale (Rectangle Sketch to Scale and the matching subjects), and import reads that subject back as the Sketch tool. Those tools are on at layrbuild.dev and off at layrbuild.app.

Which tools are on lives in the repo

Release flags moved out of the admin database and into src/domain/features/features.ts, one entry per tool. Released is on everywhere. Review is on at layrbuild.dev and off at layrbuild.app. Off is parked. The tools a production user can create are the same set as 0.23.0. /admin shows the list and does not switch it. Releasing or parking a tool is a pull request.

Review an addendum against the bid set

On a project staged for the addenda demo, the Addenda tab is a workspace: compare the sheet as bid with the addendum (single, split, swipe or overlay), walk a page map of the pins, and sign off. The page grid loads a small thumbnail of each sheet. Ordinary projects still do not see addendum intake.
